We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Arborist / Tree Care Sales Professional to join our growing team. This individual will serve as a key representative of the company, responsible for driving revenue growth, building lasting client relationships, and delivering expert tree care solutions.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with strong arboricultural knowledge, preferably holding ISA Certified Arborist or MCA (Massachusetts Certified Arborist) credentials, and a proven track record in sales.
This is a full-time, field-based role serving South Berkshire County and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Acquisition & Sales Execution
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, and company-provided leads
- Conduct on-site consultations to assess tree and landscape needs
- Develop and present customized proposals for tree care services
- Close sales and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets
- Maintain a strong pipeline and manage sales cycles
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
- Deliver exceptional customer experience
- Educate clients on proper tree care practices
- Ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Staying updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and product knowledge
Technical & Arboricultural Responsibilities
- Diagnose tree health issues and structural concerns
- Recommend treatments and maintenance plans
- Prepare accurate job estimates
- Coordinate with field crews for execution
Sales Administration & Reporting
- Track sales activity in CRM systems
- Monitor performance against goals (Meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas)
- Maintain detailed job notes

Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving targets
- Strong interpersonal skills

- ISA Certified Arborist or MCA credential
- Tree care or landscaping experience
- Knowledge of arboriculture and plant health care
- Technology Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and social media.
