TREE CABLing

While cabling is certainly an aspect of overall tree health, it stands alone insofar as it specifically provides additional strength to the junction of two or more limbs where one or both may require it. Many varieties of trees have what are known as co-dominate stems. Cabling and bracing reduce the risk of major branch or tree failure. Most cable systems are, for the most part invisible when installed in the top of the tree. Cable systems should be inspected annually and after significant storm events.
